Merry Christmas!
Christmas is a beginning, but comes
at the end of the calendar year. Joseph and Mary
travelled to Bethlehem in compliance with a decree from
Caessar Augustus. There Mary gave birth to Jesus
and when word came that King Herod planned to kill the
newborn child, Mary, Joseph and the baby began their
journey captured in an image of universal appeal.
Life is a journey along many roads, some very difficult,
and others more pleasant. At Yorktown University
we believe education is a journey of growth in
character, knowledge and ability. At Christmas we pray
for all members of the Yorktown University community and
share with them the joys of a season that reminds us
that the journey of life on the road less travelled
often the better one.
Here are milestones recently passed on Yorktown
University’s journey.
