Merry
Christmas
Yorktown University is pleased to celebrate this
holiday season with a rousing Merry Christmas and a
commentary on the first Christmas and early Christianity
from the perspective of Supply-side economics.
Yorktown University Director, James Lucier, is Managing
Director of Capital Alpha Partners, LLC, a Washington,
D.C.-based research firm that provides strategic
guidance for institutional money managers. He writes
of the tax policies of Caesar Augustus that required
Mary and Joseph to travel to Joseph’s home town so that
he might be taxed.
Pay as You Go Tuition Payment
Plan!
College tuition is very taxing and millions of
students are looking for a good education that doesn’t
burden them with back-breaking debt. Well,
Yorktown University has developed a “Pay as You Go”
tuition payment plan with Interest capped at 1%.
Early College students enrolled in the Pay as You Go
plan earn 9 credits a year and pay as little as $84.17 a
month for six months.
It costs as little as $157.81 a month over twelve
months for 9 credits of undergraduate coursework and 9
credits in the M.A. in Government degree program.
Tuition for 9 credits in Yorktown University’s MBA in
Entrepreneurship degree program costs as little as
$220.94 a month over twelve months. Click

want to audit an undergraduate course, the cost over six
months is $84.17 a month.

Scholarship Tour—Ft. Lauderdale
Yorktown University’s professor of
the history of architecture, Edward Levinson, will host
a tour on the good ship Carrie B of Ft. Lauderdale’s
Gold Coast. The cost is $50 and begins at noon on
January 30, 2010. The tour concludes with a visit to the
Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church and a discussion of
Coral Ridge’s Gothic architecture. The church is
in the spirit of the gothic movement. The spire of
the church soars heavenward, and presents a most
dramatic exclamation on the landscape. If you
would like to take the tour, e-mail us at registrar@yorktownuniversity.edu.
