Guest Editorial at the Yorktown
Patriot
Post partisanship, and Realignment an
exclusive essay posted at the Yorktown Patriot by Dr.
Angelo Codevilla, Photo a distinguished national
security scholar and political theorist. Dr.
Codevilla argues that American national politics is
now undergoing an historic realignment in which
statists dominate the executive branch, what he calls
the "party of the Court," and by opponents of the
administrative state elected to the U.S.
Congress. This does not bode well for those who
expected a different realignment in 1980 or 1994, but
the growth of the party of the Court is rooted in
major currents in American culture and politics.
