American Conservative Union Foundation:  Established in 1964, ACU is the nation's oldest and largest grassroots conservative lobbying organization, committed to a market economy, the doctrine of original intent of the framers of the Constitution, traditional moral values, and a strong national defense.

The American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property:  Founded in 1973, the American TFP was formed to oppose the ideas of liberal, socialist and communist trends of the times and proudly affirms the positive values of tradition, family and property.

The American Spectator:  Founded in 1967,  The American Spectator features monthly reporting and lively commentary by leading journalists, economists, and newsmakers including R. Emmett Tyrrell, Jr., John Fund, and Ben Stein. It also hosts daily articles, an up-to-the-minute blog, and a digital magazine.

Accuracy in Media:  AIM is a non-profit, citizen's watchdog group whose mission is to evaluate and comment on the quality of reporting by the news media, and sets the record straight on important issues that have received slanted or inaccurate coverage.

America's Future Foundation:  America's Future Foundation (AFF) recognizes that the future of freedom in America is by no means assured. The fate of freedom falls upon today's conservative and libertarian professionals in their 20s and 30s. AFF's mission is to identify and develop these future conservative and libertarian leaders.

Backbone America:  Sponsored by the Claremont Institute, Backbone America is led by former Colorado State Senator John Andrews. Its mission is to create a national citizens alliance that champions the principles of the American founding and foresees the 21st-century conservative movement reborn in the spirit of 1776.

The Buckeye Institute: The Buckeye Institute is an independent public policy institute that analyzes state and local government programs, taxes, and regulations in Ohio and offers policy alternatives consistent with a respect for individual liberty, private property and limited government. They distribute new solutions to policy makers and key opinion leaders to make meaningful change. with the assistance of 46 scholars from 23 universities and colleges throughout Ohio, as well as through their publications, lectures and special events.

Cascade Policy Institute: Founded in January 1991 as a nonprofit research and educational organization to focus on Oregon state and local issues. CPI's mission is to explore and advance public policy alternatives that foster individual liberty, personal responsibility, and economic opportunity.

Center for the American University:  The Manhattan Institute's Center for the American University (CAU) is dedicated to restoring the original conception of the university. We want to foster a university based on neither conservative nor liberal doctrines, but rather on the search for knowledge and truth. Discovering truth, however, is impossible without a commitment to freedom of inquiry and the broadest possible range of viewpoints-what we call intellectual pluralism.

Center for College Affordability and Productivity:  Founded by Economist Richard Vedder, The Center for College Affordability and Productivity (CCAP) is dedicated to research on the issues of rising costs and stagnant efficiency in higher education, with special emphasis on the United States.

City Journal:  Edited by Brian C. Anderson, City Journal is a quarterly publication that features a stable of outstanding regular contributors, among them Theodore Dalrymple, Nicole Gelinas, Kay S. Hymowitz, Heather Mac Donald, Myron Magnet, Steven Malanga, Judith Miller and Sol Stern.

Commonwealth Foundation:  An intergovernmental organization that is resourced by and reports to Commonwealth governments. Including programs, events, and contacts, their mission is to strengthen civil society in the achievement of Commonwealth priorities such as those related to democracy and good governance.

Ethan Allen Institute:  The Ethan Allen Institute is Vermont's independent, non-partisan, free-market-oriented, public policy "think tank". Institute uses the fundamentals of a free society to help the people of Vermont better understand public policy.

Flint Hills Center for Public Policy: The Flint Hills Center for Public Policy has a vision of a civil society where the citizens of Kansas are free and responsible people. Its mission is dedicated to the constitutional principles of limited government, open markets, and individual freedom and responsibility.

Goldwater Institute:  Founded in Arizona in 1988, the Goldwater Institute is an independent, government "watchdog" organization, whose primary goal is to develop solutions to state-level issues.  The institute's mission is to expand the ideas of economic freedom, educational opportunity, transparent government and protection of the rights guaranteed by the US Constitution.

Young Leaders Program, The Heritage Foundation:  The Heritage Foundation Young Leaders Program (YLP) consists of the internship program, job bank, alumni program for former Heritage staff and interns, and leadership development activities.  YLP hosts monthly job seminars, helps conservative candidates find full-time employment in the public policy arena through its Job Bank, and runs a highly competitive, educational internship program to help equip young conservatives for their careers.

Homeschooling Today Magazine:  A bi-monthly print magazine committed to bringing the homeschool community useful information and resources, such as Liberal arts instruction, teaching aids, and preschool activities with a Biblical conviction that God uses families to change the world.

Independence Institute:  Founded in 1985, the Independence Institute is a non-partisan, non-profit public policy research organization dedicated to providing timely information to concerned citizens, government officials, and public opinion leaders.

InsideHigherEd.com:  Founded in 2004 InsideHigherEd is a free daily newspaper that covers American higher eduction news and develoments.

Institute for Humane Studies / Liberty Guide:  An organization that encourages the free exchange of ideas in pursuit of a better understanding of the foundations of a peaceful, prosperous and free society.

Institute for Policy Innovation:  IPI is a non-profit, non-partisan public policy "think tank" founded in 1987 by Congressman Dick Armey and committed to approaches to governing that harnesses the strengths of individual liberty, limited government, and free markets.

Intercollegiate Studies Institute:  Founded in 1953, ISI founders, Frank Chodorov, William F. Buckley, Jr. and E. Victor Milione, sought to "to educate for liberty" — to identify the best and the brightest college students and to nurture in these future leaders the American ideal of ordered liberty. To accomplish this goal, ISI advances knowledge of the philosophical principles of the founding of the Constitution of the United States — limited government, individual liberty, personal responsibility, the rule of law, market economy, and moral norms.

The Jesse Helms Center Foundation:  The Helms Center seeks to continue the work of Senator Jesse Helms by promoting principles he built his life and career on: free enterprise, representative democracy, traditional American values, and a strong national defense. Founded in 1988, the work of the Helms Center involves education, historical preservation and public policy promotion through a variety of programs for students, scholars, and the general public.

The Leadership Institute:  The Leadership Institute's mission is to increase the number and effectiveness of conservative public policy leaders.  Since 1979 the Institute's unique seminars and workshops have enrolled more than 48,000 students and taught them how to win.  Each year hundreds of Institute graduates obtain positions of influence in public policy because of their Leadership Institute training.

James Madison Institute:  The James Madison Institute is a Florida-based research and educational organization whose mission is to inform Florida citizens about their government and to help shape their state in the future. They achieve their mission through conferences and seminars, research and publications.

The Maine Heritage Policy Center:  A research and educational organization whose mission is to formulate and promote conservative public policies based on the principles of free enterprise; limited, constitutional government; individual freedom; and traditional American values--all for the purpose of providing public policy solutions that benefit the people of Maine.

Manhattan Institute for Policy Research:  A New York City Think Tank that develops ideas that foster economic choice and individual responsibility, supporting and publicized research on some of the most challenging public policy issues: taxes, health care, energy, the legal system, policing, crime, homeland security, urban life, education, race and culture.

Media Research Center:  The Media Research Center's mission is to bring balance to the news media. Founded in 1987, by a group of determined conservatives, they set out to prove - through sound scientific research - that liberal bias in the media does exist and undermines traditional American values.

Mississippi Center for Public Policy:  based in Jackson, Mississippi, The Mississippi Center for Public Policy works to promote and protect the ideas of free markets, limited government and traditional families. They are members of the State Policy Network, comprised of more than 40 state-based "think tanks" inside of the US.

Mountain States Legal: Mountain States Legal Foundation's mission is to champion the rights and liberties guaranteed by the Constitution in support of individual and business enterprises and against unwarranted government intrusion.

The New Criterion:  A monthly review of the arts and intellectual life, The New Criterion is a publication devoted to engaging, in Matthew Arnold’s famous phrase, with “the best that has been thought and said.” This also means engaging with those forces dedicated to traducing genuine cultural and intellectual achievement, whether through obfuscation, politicization, or a commitment to nihilistic absurdity.

North Dakota Policy Council:  Is a liberty-based "think tank" focused on solutions for North Dakota. The Council seeks to expand debates on public policy beyond the belief that government intervention should be the first resort.

Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs:  Was founded in 1993 as a public policy research organization that focused on state-level issues. Their mission is to gather, evaluate and distribute public policy ideas to the people of Oklahoma. This institute is regarded as the "the flagship of the conservative movement in Oklahoma."

Ocean State Policy Research Institute:  Is a non-profit, non-partisan research organization based in Rhode Island. This Institute's mission is to shape public policy based on the principles of free enterprise, limited government and traditional values by using research and analysis on important issues to assist the public.

Pacific Research Institute:  Founded in 1979, the Pacific Research Institute's mission is to encourage freedom, opportunity and personal responsibility using the ideas of free-market policy. The institute provides information, community outreach, publications and events designed to help educate the public on local issues.

The John William Pope Center for Higher Education Policy:  Founded in 1996 as a project of the John Locke Foundation. North Carolina's pro-freedom public policy think tank seeks to bring innovative thinking and critical analysis to the field of higher education, in North Carolina and across the nation.

John William Pope Civitas Institute:  The vision of this institute is to promote the ideas of limited government, personal responsibility and civic engagement to the state of North Carolina. Their mission is to help with the implementation of conservative policy using research, information and training the public.

Public Interest Institute:  The Institute promotes the importance of a free-enterprise economic system and its relationship to a free and democratic society. It seeks to support the proper role of a limited government in a society based upon individual freedom and liberty.

Public Interest Institute:  Is a non-profit, independent organization designed to encourage the ideas of human rights, economic freedom, economic growth and job creation for the state of Iowa. Their primary mission is to present alternatives to state and local issues, provide forums for public debate and to cultivate relationships with state, local, and national government agencies and bodies.

Rio Grande Foundation:  The Rio Grande Foundation is a research institute dedicated to increasing liberty and prosperity for all of New Mexico's citizens. We do this by informing New Mexicans of the importance of individual freedom, limited government, and economic opportunity.

The Show-Me Institute:  is a research and educational institute dedicated to improving the quality of life for all citizens of Missouri by advancing sensible, well-researched solutions to state and local policy issues. The institute's scholars seek to move beyond the 20th-century mindset that every problem has a government solution. Instead, they develop policies that respect the rights of the individual, encourage creativity and hard work, and nurture independence and social cooperation.

State Policy Network:  Founded in 1992, SPN is the only group in the country dedicated to improving the practical effectiveness of independent, non-profit, market-oriented, state-based think tanks. SPN's work advances a free society by providing leadership development, management training, and networking opportunities for think tank professionals and promoting strategic partnerships among market-oriented organizations.

The University Bookman:  Founded by Russell Kirk in 1960 and currently edited by Gerald J. Russello, The University Bookman is the flagship journal of the Russell Kirk Center and one of America’s premier reviewer publications. In its pages, readers find thoughtful assessments of leading books and authors written by some of today’s most gifted conservative minds.

Virginia Institute for Public Policy:  An independent, nonpartisan, education and research organization committed to the goals of individual opportunity and economic growth.

Young America's Foundation:  For more than thirty-five years YAF has been the largest advocacy group devoted to disseminating the ideas and principals of the growing American conservative movement to college and high school students.
