Wade Shole Wade Shol earned his doctorate in National Security Studies at the University of Reading in the United Kingdom (2006), the M.A. degree in International Studies from The Claremont Graduate School (1998) in Claremont, California and the A.S. (Liberal Arts) and B.S. (Political Science) degree from the University of the State of New York (1985;1992). Dr. Shol has had the benefit of studying under two distinguished scholars in International Relations. At Claremont he studied under the direction of Dr. Harold Rood and at the University of Reading he studied under Dr. Colin Gray. For Dr. Rood he created a formula to forecast global trends in national power status. That model revealed the People's Republic of China surpassing the U.S. as the world's superpower in the year 2017. He completed a Certificate in Post-Graduate Research at the University of Hull (2001).

Prior to commencing graduate work, Dr. Shol served in both the US Marine Corps and U.S. Navy. His duty assignments included the 4th Marine Division (1980-1981), USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (1982-1987), and selection as a member of Operation Deep Freeze, 33rd Winter-Over detachment to Antarctica in support of the National Science Foundation (1987-1988). He then became a survival instructor for the US Navy's Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape School in Coronado, California (1989-1992). While at SERE School he created the first Chief of Naval Operations authorized counter-terrorism training course. He separated from the Navy as a Chief Petty Officer in 1992.

Wade serves as Adjunct Professor of Government at Montgomery College in Conroe, Texas. Additionally he holds training seminars on civic responsibility, politics, current affairs, and national security issues of importance to the American public. He carries out numerous research projects related to the security of the United States. These include all facets of asymmetric methods deployed by domestic and foreign adversaries seeking to undermine American society. He successfully conducted several years of detailed analysis over the unusual collapse of the Soviet Union which resulted in more than a few unanswered questions. His current research endeavor involves the development of the People's Republic of China and the likelihood that it will become a dangerous contender in the 21st Century.
