John Hendrickson, received both his BA and MA in History from the University of North Dakota. He currently serves as a Research Analyst at Public Interest Institute, a stated based public policy think tank in Iowa. Public Interest Institute is a limited government and free-market research institute based on the campus of Iowa Wesleyan College. John also serves as an Adjunct Instructor of History at Iowa Wesleyan College, Southeastern Community College, and the Mount Pleasant Christian School. Courses he has taught include American History to 1877, American History Since 1877, United States Constitutional History, the American Civil War, United States History Since 1945, and the United States and the Cold War. John's research interests include American political and constitutional history. Prior to working at Public Interest Institute, John worked as a Legislative Correspondent and served as an intern at The Heritage Foundation.
