Bari Courts, earned a Ph.D. in Organizational Management from Capella University (2005) and the M.B.A. in Management from the University of Cincinnati (1991). Dr. Courts earned a B.S. in Mathematics from Kenyon College (1989). Dr. Courts’ Ph.D. from Capella was spent entirely online and thus is representative of the Internet’s ability to enlarge educational opportunity and the time commitment and other issues associated with completing a degree online. “It is not easy,” he tells Yorktown University, “but it is very rewarding.” In addition to studying online, Dr. Courts has taught numerous online classes. In his spare time he is an eBay Power Seller, plays soccer for exercise and sings in a barbershop chorus and barbershop quartet.
